We have been established as a Complimentary Health Practice since 1987. We are able to offer our services to people from a wide range of backgrounds. Many people come to therapy/ counselling presenting a range of issues often stress, depression and anxiety based.
The pressure on doctors and the NHS is vastly increasing.
Demands are being placed on organisations, individuals and families. This ever changing economic climate can put individuals under tremendous ongoing stress. This can lead to redundancies, illness and to the breakdown of the individual and the family system.
We are offering more opportunities for short term groupwork.
These groups will give people the skills to be able to be self supportive. YOU can increase your skills to help yourself, through all the pressures that life can throw at you.
Why not learn mindfulness meditation based stress reduction combined with Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT). This has been widely researched and the medical profession and National Institute for Clinical Excellence recommends the benefits of the commited practice of Mindfulness with people suffering from anxiety and depression.
Glenis Eden of Bristol Confidential Counselling Service has been trained by Bangor University to integrate Mindfulness into her counselling and psychotherapy practice and also to train groups and individuals in a 25 years well-established 8 week programme. Mindfulness Courses are being held at the Helios Medical Practice, Stoke Bishop, Bristol and in Nailsea.
Courses are starting from September 2011 and are held 3 times yearly.

Tapping is one of the powerful Meridian Energy Therapies.
It was brought to the world in 1997 by Gary Craig & is better known as EFT. It is an emotional form of acupuncture & involves tapping specific points on the body with the finger tips to treat an emotional or physical symptom.
The therapy is based around the theory that all negative emotions disrupt the bodies energy system & stimulating certain points will relieve emotions.
