Glenis helped me get through and make sense of all of my emotions when my marriage of twenty years dissolved. She promotes self-help. Her maturity and obvious wealth of experience in her field of counselling enables her to offer a variety of approaches to help people deal with their different issues and emotions.
Glenis puts you at ease from day one, she is very kind and caring, but firm when necessary. She is also professional, empathetic, engaging, intuitive and appropriate. I would have no hesitation in recommending Glenis as a counsellor. She has helped me to grow as a person and to be happy again. I can now see that life is in fact worth living after a relationship break up.

Glenis has been my Clinical Supervisor for over two years. During this time I have found supervision to be a very supportive place. I have always been able to bring any issues to the sessions that are concerning me about my client work. I have also been encouraged to share my successes.
Initially Glenis supervised me when I was finalising my counselling degree and working within my placement. Through her extensive knowledge and insight I have gained a great deal of confidence when working with my clients. She models working in a safe and ethical way, as required by our professional body, The British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy ( BACP ).
Through the coaching and mentoring Glenis is able to offer I am making a positive transition into successfully developing and establishing my private practice. I have had two supervisors previously and I have no hesitation in recommending Glenis as your supervisor.

I met Glenis eight years ago when I joined her Carers Support Group. At this point I was looking after my husband who was suffering with dementia. I was exhausted and feeling depressed. I didn't know which way to turn. I didn't really want to take antidepressants to support me through the depression.
Glenis intoduced me to Mindfulness Meditation. I attended one of her first eight week Mindfulness Meditation groups. The training was brilliant. I was encouraged by Glenis to keep up the practice, to be patient with myself, to not feel a failure if my mind drifted from focussing on my breathing. Slowly I started to build my confidence. I successfully developed a regular meditation practice. Eventually I started to feel more positive about myself. I enjoyed a healing and comforting space within myself from the regular practice of Mindfulness. This has been a respite for me.
My husband is now in full time care, but I have been able to cope well with the tremendous loss and changes that happened when dementia touched our lives. I have now progressed in a very positive way.
'Make mindfulness a daily habit for life'. Glenis
I have started to create a new life for myself. I can highly recommend Glenis as a counsellor, and as a trainer of Mindfulness. I appreciate the support and encouragement she as given me
